ENROLL IN JED
Returning JED Enrollees: In order to reserve a space for your child(ren) in JED, please complete
the three forms to the right (Enrollment Agreement, Registration Form, & Medical Release Form). Applications will be processed
on a first-come, first-served basis within enrollment categories. Applications for 5-day enrollment will be processed first,
then applicants for 4 days, and so forth. Enrollment will be limited by available space and appropriate student-teacher ratios.
Current enrollment in JED does not guarantee a space for next year. You must submit an application. Applications received
after June 10th will be processed with new applications.
New Applicants: Processing of applications for new enrollees
will begin on a space available basis. Applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis within enrollment
categories. Applications for 5-day enrollment will be processed first, then applications for 4 days, and so forth. Siblings
of children currently enrolled in JED are not considered new applicants and may be enrolled with their older siblings.
How
to Apply
Download the the forms on the right, complete them, and return
them to JED. Failure to sign and submit all parts of the application will result in the application not being processed and
a place not being held for your child(ren).

Tuition
Tuition may be paid
in monthly installments or by the semester. Fall semester is 4.5 months and Spring is 5.5. months. Those choosing to pay tuition
by the semester will receive a 5% discount on the semester’s tuition, provided payment is received by September 10th
and February 10th. If payment is not received by the 10th, no discount will be offered.
Monthly installments are
due and payable on the first of the month. The first tuition payment for the 2011-2012 school year is due September 1st, 2011.
A 10% late fee on the installment will be assessed if payment is not received by the 10th day of the month. Any late fee must
be paid with the late installment. In addition, interest at the rate of 10% per annum will accrue and be assessed on any outstanding
balance starting the first day of the next month. Non-payment after one month may result in your child’s dismissal from
JED. If payment cannot be made on time, please notify the Director as soon as possible but no later than the 10th day of the
month.
The monthly installment does not vary depending on the number of school days in any month. Holidays, vacations,
and other reasons are taken into consideration in determining the yearly tuition. There is no adjustment in the installment
for days that your child misses as a result of illness or activities.
If your child(ren) are withdrawn from JED
before the semester ends or their attendance schedule is reduced, you will be refunded tuition on a pro-rated (month-by-month)
basis.
All money will be refunded to you if space is not available for your child. Written notice must be submitted
to the Director if you withdraw your child mid-month. Partial-month refunds are not made, however remaining months left on
semester payments will be returned.

Scholarships:
JED offers a limited number of scholarships per school year. The amount of the scholarship will be
dependent upon JED resources and the number of applicants that qualify for assistance. Completed applications must be submitted
with all appropriate documentation. Applications for the 2011-2012 school year were required to be submitted by
September 1, 2011.
